PROJECT PLANNING

Planning Your Outdoor Living Project

Ten questions every homeowner should consider before construction begins.

Question 08

How Does Communication and Project Supervision Work?

The short answer

We believe good communication means clear answers, appropriate updates, and a defined point of contact, not unlimited calls, texts, or round-the-clock access to individual team members.

Who supervises the work?

Our working foreman oversees field activities when assigned to the site, and company leadership checks on progress and coordinates the work as needed. This does not mean a separate, dedicated supervisor will stand on-site throughout every workday unless that service is expressly included in the agreement.

When should I contact the team?

Please direct routine questions, selections, and nonurgent concerns to your designated project contact during normal business hours. We welcome reasonable questions and will respond as promptly as practical while also managing crews, vendors, and other active projects. Nonurgent evening or weekend messages generally receive attention during the next business period.

What about urgent concerns?

For an immediate safety concern or active threat of property damage, use the emergency contact procedure provided for your project. For routine questions, please consolidate items into one email or conversation when possible rather than making repeated calls throughout the day.

Our commitment and yours

We will communicate respectfully and expect the same in return. Hiring a contractor establishes a professional working relationship with agreed responsibilities and reasonable boundaries; it does not include unlimited personal access to the owner or dedicated one-on-one attention all day. If you require a particular communication frequency or dedicated on-site management, discuss that with us before signing so the scope and cost can be evaluated.
